Cupboard Construction

Trainees on the course will be taught how to plan, manufacture and install a variety of cupboards and cabinets for the kitchen and other areas. Some of the operations covered in the module include:

  • Planning cupboard layout
  • Preparing materials for cupboard construction
  • Lathe turning cupboard components
  • Assembling cupboards
  • Finishing Cupboards
  • Performing preventative maintenance on carpentry tools, equipment and machinery.

This course is held at the Six Roads Training Centre.

    No. Skills Training programmes cater to unemployed persons. The Board also conducts Evening programmes which cater to employed persons.

  • What time are the classes held?

    Classes are held from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

    A stipend is a fixed regular sum of money paid to trainees to help cover expenses related to their attendance.
